ATTENDANCE
or DISTANCE LEARNING?

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO STUDY OUR COURSES
(with the exception of the 4 Year Part-time Professional Course)
Distance
Learning– Offers Flexibility
This would suit those who wish to study at home in their
own time at their own pace and those who are unable to attend
School weekends on a regular basis. Students will be provided
with a study guide, along with study packs containing lessons,
activities and assignments. Each student will also be allocated
a personal tutor, who will guide and support them in their
work and give detailed feedback on assignments. This course
would be suitable for overseas students, as well as those
in the UK.
For those who wish to study the One Year Foundation Course
by Distance Learning there are optional workshops throughout
the year to enable students to come into the School, meet
tutors and students on the attended course and gain practical
clinical experience. Workshops cover a range of topics in
both Homoeopathy and Medical Science.
The time needed to complete Distance Learning courses varies
(please see relevant web pages for specific courses).
Accreditation
Our Distance Learning courses are recognised by the following
official bodies:
- The Society of Homeopaths Varied and
flexible approach to assessment with positive feed back
- The Open & Distance Learning Quality Council
Attendance
Course
Attendance courses have the added benefits of face-to-face
learning from qualified homoeopaths and tutors during the
School teaching weekends. There is also the interaction and
camaraderie that comes from being with other students, joining
in class discussions and working together in groups.
The time needed to complete attended courses varies (please
see relevant web pages for specific courses).
